Seeing Life thru Deep Pink Rose-Colored Glasses

La Vie en Magenta was originally divined when I landed in Paris, December 2022, to cook and write. On my way to France, I spent November in the UK, when I received a message from my angels to look for signs and wonders in "deep pink".

Fuschia pink and magenta are my favorite colors, and it seemed like everywhere I went, I caught glimpses of deep pink. By the time I settled in Paris, the Pantone Color Institute had named Viva Magenta their Color of the Year for 2023.

My new best friend in Paris, Lydie, encouraged me to write short stories of my sweet adventures in Paris - my new friends in town, my favorite cafe, what I cooked with local groceries. I decided to call my new project La Vie en Magenta - Seeing Life thru Deep Pink Rose-Colored Glasses.

I started writing stories that enamored me all the more with my experience in Paris, and then in Bayeux, Normandie. In Bayeux, I actually bought a new pair of eyeglasses with deep pink round frames.

When I returned to Redondo Beach, I continued to write stories that took me from winter to spring. Summer 2023 I am returning to France, when new stories will inevitably surprise and delight me.

Wherever I am, I will always see Life through deep pink rose-colored glasses and, I will keep telling stories.
