It's Written in the Stars

I really hope that’s true.

I’ve been blessed with a new idea and I really want to take it somewhere and, in fact it has something to do with the stars!

Just this summer I’ve resumed my study of plant medicine. Now I want to fall even more in love with plants and how they love us up, and share that with the world.  My dream is to have a boutique apothecary in a small town in either Italy or France, and be the local Medicine Woman. I would love to teach and serve in ways that are new, exciting, and really fun.

Now then. About the stars. 

This summer I’ve been also dipping my toes in the pool of Astrology, something I’ve been interested in since forever ago. My 7-week online course with world-renowned, Visionary Astrologer Caroline Casey, has me riveted toward learning more about my own natal chart, and then some.

One afternoon in French Conversation Club, I was the only one who showed up for the session, and I had one of my favorite teachers, Millica, all to myself. Our topic was Astrology, and in my very best French, I told her I loved exploring the possibilities that Astrology offers me.

During our conversation, I told her that I’m taking two online courses at the moment – one in Plant Medicine, and one in Astrology. I told her that I know there is a connection between plants and the planets, and I’d love to learn more about that and even teach about it someday.

Millica asked me if I’d begun researching this particular pairing of subjects, and how to teach it, yet?? I thought for a moment then said, en francais, No! Because I just thought of it right this minute! Alors, merci beaucoup, Millica !

What I went on to say, en francais, is that in my experience, I’m always divinely guided to my next steps. Thinking out loud, I told her that I’ll probably wake up one morning and know exactly where to learn more about this, and how to proceed.

After thinking about it all week, several times a day, I still didn’t feel inspired to do a random google search, for something so important. I just stood by, hopefully expectant that the right guidance would drop in.

And, it did.

By now I’ve learned about an extraordinary online school with classes that include the connection between plants and astrology. This discovery delighted and surprised me, as I found it through my own favorite, trusted Herbalism teachers.

Et voila! I’m on a new track – as far as I know! I’ve waitlisted myself on a class titled Botanical Constellations in 2026. Until then, I already have divinely-guided ideas of how to prepare, and will absolutely be intuiting what else to do.

How will this ultimately unfold ?? I have no idea.

I just know that all I need to do (while having the most interesting fun possible) is to show up, follow my guidance/path/process, take each next step one at a time, and plan to be surprised.
